Proud of the Cardinal's win or lose!October 28, 2011 4:09 pm
All I can say is after watching last night's game and seeing how the Redbird's never gave up makes me sooo proud to call them my team more than ever! Even more than our last WS win to be honest. The media and masses alike didn't give our team a chance and made it sound like the Cardinal's presence in the WS was not what baseball needed. Well I am sure after last night 'game of the ages' that tune has changed. Even the announcers were saying it is the best post-season game in history! I certainly thought so. :) So all I wanted to really say is that win or lose, I couldn't be prouder of my team, our fans and of baseball for giving us one of the best sport's playoffs runs in recent memory! Even though I never thought that we had a legit chance this year, especially after losing Wainwright in pre-season, and with teams like Philly and the Brewers as stacked in talent as they were - I still believed!!! I hope everyone enjoys tonight's game and that the Cardinal's come out on top, but even if they don't; they made it really a special for me as a fan! GO CARDS GO!!! ps. Let's pray that Pujols never leaves us!!!! Category: MLB Tags: stl. cardinals
Game 6 recap plus game 7 previewOctober 28, 2011 1:35 am
The last 5 innings of this game will completely overshadow how poorly this game was played through the first 6 innings. 5 errors, poor defensive decisions, base running blunders: all forgotten with how this game ended. The Cardinals were down to their final strike twice and they somehow pulled it out. David Freese will go down as one of the most clutch hitters in the history of the game with the triple to tie it in the 9th and the walk-off homer in the 11th. Unreal game. Too bad people on the east coast aren't watching because this World Series has been absolutely epic. Tomorrows game between Holliday Vs. Kyle Loshe , or Chris Carpenter will be a good one to cap off an already amazing series. But how can the Texas Rangers bounce back with a win after tonights devastating loss. Tune in tomorrow, for game 7. As one of the announcers at the post game show, if your not watching tomorrow your not a true fan. Category: MLB World Series baby!October 18, 2011 8:54 am

Cardinals, Brewers Game 4 NLCS : Loshe Vs. WolfOctober 13, 2011 2:08 am
Our Cardinals starter for Game 4 of the NLCS Kyle Loshe, is 0-1 this post season but did have the lead going into the 6th, and TLR didn't pull him at the sign of danger so he lost game 1 he gave up 5 runs in 5 1/2 innings pitched. The Brewers starter for Game 4 of the NLCS is Randy Wolf, who is 0-1 in his post season career, he went 3 innings pitched and gave up 7 runs he didn't even have the lead at any point during his outing. So, Loshe Vs. Wolf ---> Edge Loshe I think the Cardinals offense will again come to life as Wolf takes the mound he wont sucessfully pitch around Albert, and he won't get a chance with all of our offense having batting practice on him... Game 4 goes to the Cardinals I predict the final score 9-3 Cardinals go into game 5 with the lead of the series 3-1 and the struggling Brewers will fight to hang on to their first MLB Playoffs in franchise history since being the Brewers. Hey Redbird fans, It's time to stand up and get those flags going because we have a chance to take our first series lead this Playoffs, and we have a great chance at that. The Brewers Gallardo may be their ace but his numbers against the Cardinals just aren't that great and don't look too good for the Brewers Matchup Tomorrow between the Cardinals and the Brewers. And how about that Karma that Nyjer Morgan got in game 2 of the NLCS, calling Pujols by the name of "Alberta" on his Twitter account, eating that wall was what you had coming, and you have more coming I can promise you that. Alirght guys my predictions are Game 3 - Carpenter Vs. Gallardo -> Carpenter wins Game 4 - Loshe Vs. Wolf -> Loshe wins Game 5 - Garcia Vs. Greinke -> Garcia seeing as both of his starts have come out with him leading but La Russia not pulling him soon enough causing the Redbirds the lead. I look to the Cardinals to take the NLDS in 6 Knocking the Brewers "Beast Mode" into offseason and hopefully playing the Tigers in a 2006 World Series rematch only this year the National League will have home field advantage. Good luck Brewers fans I just think the Cardinals have what it takes this year, we weren't a bad team we were just struck with so much trauma in the beginning of the season that we didn't know what we were going to do, but now Wainwright is making throwing sessions, we have put together our talent and we are the team that everyone has thought we would be all season. I see the Cardinals getting 11 in 2011. Show your colors Redbirds fans and tune in tomorrow to support our Birds!!!!! Category: MLB |
